Our work

What DAG does, and why.

Divine Abundance Grace Chapel Foundation is a Christian foundation in Accra. We exist to take in the people in our community who have run out of safety nets — children with no one to raise them, widows with no one to defend them, elders with no one to care for them — and to give them a home, an education, dignity, and the love of a family.

The work itself is unglamorous and constant. School fees and uniforms, daily meals, rent, doctor's visits, legal support for women being pushed off their land, end-of-life care for elders who have outlived their families. Worship and welfare share one body — for the people we serve, faith and food arrive together.

Prophet William Osei began this work in 2009 with a single calling and a single house. House of Destiny — our motto — is shorthand for what we believe is at stake: the destiny of every person we take in. We commit to each one personally, and we stay with them for as long as the need lasts.

For most of our history, this has run on the offering plate of our own church and the personal income of our founder. We are now opening the work to partners outside Ghana, so that what we have built quietly can carry on at scale.

Our team

The people behind the work

DAG runs on the daily commitment of a small circle of pastors and volunteers — in Accra, in Ghana's wider faith community, and in the UK.

In their words

What our partners say

“My late father partnered with this foundation for many years. I continue that work because I have seen, with my own eyes, what Prophet William and his team have built — a family for people who had none.”
